We had to have our 14 year old dog Charlie (the larger dog) put to sleep on Sunday he had another seizure last Wednesday and seemed to be fine afterwards but then a couple of days later he could hardly stand on his legs and kept falling into things.
We took him to the vets and he said he thought he had a brain tumour .
So this week has been really hard for me and my family as we miss him so much the home seems so empty without him.
I know time is a healer and he is not suffering anymore and he lived to a good age.
I have been trying to keep busy at home to take my mind of it all and decided to make my first Gingerbread house which I am going to give to my young Nephews.
Oh Michelle I'm so sorry losing a pet is hard, I know I lost my dog a few years ago. Just wanted to pop in and say take care and big hugs. Caroline xxx

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your dog. We had a 14 year old lab that we had to put down a couple of years ago. I know how hard it is. Now we have a crazy young one.
Michelle so very sorry about your dog and the huge loss it will be for you and your family. That is a long time . We had to put our dog down after 17 years ......I know the heavy heart. I am sorry.
